WCBF USA, the U.S. division of WCBF, is a nonprofit organization registered in Alhambra, California. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers from diverse backgrounds who share a deep passion for badminton. Our mission is to create a stronger platform that connects badminton players across North America with the global badminton community.

WCBF was founded in 1993 in Macau, China, with the goal of promoting tournaments for amateur and retired badminton professionals throughout China and Southeast Asia. Over time, the organization expanded into an international network with no restrictions on ethnicity or nationality.

Today, WCBF includes more than 45 divisions across regions such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, South Africa, Canada, and the United States. The 22nd WCBF Tournament, held in 2015 in Changsha, Hunan, featured over 4,300 participants and earned a Guinness World Record—followed by a second Guinness record the following year in Hainan, China.
